Happy Birthday Dr. Hans Krebs!

On August 25th, 1900, Hans Krebs was born. Dr. Krebs' work focused on cellular respiration and the cell production of energy. His research made him a ground-breaking pioneer in science. Ultimately Krebs discovered chemical reactions in the body that lead to defining the Urea Cycle and Citric Acid Cycle. 

In 1953, Dr. Krebs was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for the discovery of the Citric Acid Cycle, which is better known today as The Krebs Cycle.
